Building with earth is loved by all ages, so we'd like to make this experience available for families with children,
allowing the younger participants to pioneer in their creativity while being supported by parents.  Earthen building aligns us with a deeper sense of creativity and improvisation, encouraging team spirit as well as individual expression. 

During the family workshop we will continue building our playhouse and seating area project. 
Day 1 and 2: During the earthen building workshop you will be constructing a drainage, rock foundation,
testing soil - learning how to recognize suitable soil for building,
learning how to mix earth/sand and straw for building, building a wall, arches, constructing wooden window frames, shelves, learning how to install them, how to install glass elements into the wall and much more.

Ideally participants will join us for the earthen building workshop on the day one,

it's better for the flow of the workshop for everyone to start together.

At the end of each day children will be able to learn and practice a small dance routine.
Of course with play each day, chatting, laughter, connecting and getting to know each other.

Day 3: We will be learning how to weave baskets and dot paint, or you can choose to continue with the earthen building project.
(Basket weaving and dot painting is only for adults and children aged 7 and above)

Duration of the workshop 9am - 4pm each day.
Plant-based food with refreshments included throughout the day.

These workshops are designed for adults and children aged 7 and above.
Younger children are welcome to join their older sibling for the earthen building workshop.
The basket weaving and dot painting workshop is only for adults and children aged 7 and above.

Contribution for the 3 day workshop is 150 euros per person (aged 7+) 
Contribution for 2 day earthen building workshop 100 euros per person (aged 7+)
Contribution for the basket weaving and Dot painting workshop is 50 euros per person (only for aged 7+)
If you will join us on the day 3 for basket weaving workshop, there is no option to join earthen workshop on the same day.
Children aged 6 and younger are welcome free of charge.

Accommodation: There is a campsite by our closest lake Počúvadlo, (their contact 00421910244935 if you wish to stay there), alternatively there are so many different options for different types of accommodation by this lake or in the historical town and many villages surrounding us. Ranging from rooms, glamping, entire cottages, hotels, hostels...

Getting here: The closes town is Banská Štiavnica. The bus to and from the village is not too frequent,
but you can get taxi from the town for under 10 euros. 

Arriving by car is ideal, so you can explore the entire area and it's beauty.
